What is a Masterbatch?

Masterbatches are concentrated concoctions of Pigments, Additives and other Chemicals blended by application of heat into a carrier resin, which is then cooled and cut into a granular shape. Masterbatch allows the processor to colour raw polymer economically & ergonomically during the plastic manufacturing process.
